THEi Student Applied Research Presentations 2020 | 1 August 2020
Research
Going online for the first time, this year’s THEi Student Applied Research Presentations 2020 was hosted on the THEi website, and it was a great success! The event received 41 abstracts, 31 research posters and 7 video presentations from students across the three faculties. Made available on 1 August 2020 for public viewing, the event attracted more than 1,700 visitors during the period of 1 – 10 August 2020, and over 300 people voted in the competition for the Best Posters Awards and Best Video Presentation Award.
The awards competition was well received by the THEi community, with about half of the voters being THEi students or staff. Moreover, it was exciting to see that the event had a presence outside of THEi, with many visitors from other local or overseas institutions casting their votes online.
