Webinar recordings – “2020 Seminar Series “Finding Our Way Out For Our Urban Forest – The Lessons Learned From The Aftermath After Super Typhoon”

The seminar series of “Finding our way out for our urban forest – the lessons learned from the aftermath after super typhoon” comprised of 4 sessions have been hosted quarterly in 2020 by Bachelor of Science (Honours) Horticulture, Arboriculture and Landscape Management in collaboration with Greening, Landscape and Tree Management Section, Development Bureau and Hong Kong Institute of Horticultural Science.
The seminar series was fully funded by Research Grants Council and it aims to enhance public awareness of policy, planning and management strategies on urban greening by bringing together insights and experiences from local and overseas experts.
The original plan for face-to-face seminar series was conducted as webinar due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The entire webinar series turned out to be very successful and was very well received with many positive feedback, attracting nearly 1,000 attendees in total. Majority of respondents considered they gained new knowledge applicable to their work/future careers from this webinar.
