TITLE :

Part-time Lecturer (General Education Modules)

School of General Education and Languages

Ref No.: SGEL/PTL(ENG)/07/26

Major Duties:

The appointee shall engage in teaching and related learning activities, support students in their learning, participate in academic and scholarly activities of the School of General Education and Languages (SGEL), and undertake academic and administrative support services.

Requirements:

(a) A recognised Master’s degree, preferably a Doctoral degree, in Design & Creativity, Science, Information Technology, Biotechnology, Music, Humanities, Social Sciences or related disciplines;
(b) At least 4 years of teaching experience at the tertiary level and/or relevant work experience;
(c) Excellent command of English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua; and
(d) Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Notes:

(1) The appointee may be required to perform duties at different locations, and to work irregular hours, and weekends, as necessary.
(2) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with the appointee’s qualifications and experience.
(3) The appointee will work at the Chai Wan and Tsing Yi Campuses.
