THEi and Integral Institute signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 9 July to strengthen their collaboration in advancing sustainability research.
The MoU was officially signed by Prof Alan Lau, the President of THEi, and Prof Teresa Yang, a Council Member of Integral Institute and Vice-Chairman of Esquel Group.
This MoU highlights the shared commitment from both sides to develop a long-term partnership with a focus on creating impactful research and achieving implementable solutions that promote sustainable development, environmental conservation, and a circular economy.
The Integral Institute is a non-profit organisation focused on exploring and discussing sustainability at personal, institutional, and social levels. It aims to cultivate transformative models and best practices while offering a diverse range of programs to empower like-minded individuals and organisations through a comprehensive education and research platform.
The collaboration between THEi and Integral Institute envisions advancing sustainability research across various topics, including:
- Healthy institutional dining to promote employee wellbeing and engagement;
- Circular landscape practices in innovative design and management of a sustainable development garden; and
- Technological advancement and ethnography studies on sustainable dining.
