Major Duties:
(a) To maintain the smooth operation of the Institute’s Taikoo Campus by performing frontline administrative duties, including but not limited to the provision of reception services, campus access management, and handling of staff, student and public enquiries and phone calls;
(b) To perform simple on-site troubleshooting (e.g. room set-up , basic AV/Zoom/Wi Fi settings) with the assistance of relevant professional and administrative units;
(c) To provide clerical and general administrative support to various functions of the Registry, including admissions, student registration, timetabling, module registration, assessment, tuition fee collection and refund, visa application and maintenance, and programme administration;
(d) To provide support in filing and preparing simple correspondence/statistics/reports;
(e) To assist in procurement and stores administration;
(f) To provide support for various meetings, activities and events; and
(g) To support the Registry’s operations and other services, including cross‑campus deployment when required.
Requirements:
(a) (i) Level 2 or above in 5 subjects, including English Language*, Chinese Language and Mathematics, in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination, or equivalent^; OR
(ii) Level 2 / Grade E or above in 5 subjects including English Language (Syllabus B)*, Chinese Language and Mathematics in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE); OR
(iii) Diploma of Applied Education + Maths Plus / Diploma Yi Jin + Mathematics / Project Yi Jin; OR
(iv) A recognised Certificate / Diploma / Foundation Diploma / Foundation Certificate / Diploma of Foundation Studies; OR
(v) A recognised Associate Degree / Higher Diploma or above.
* Completion of the Hong Kong Vocational English Programme (HKVEP) at Level 2 / Passing 5 specific VTC’s Vocational English Module Certificates is considered an alternative qualification.
^ “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of two Applied Learning subjects), and Grade E in Other Language subjects in the HKDSE Examination are accepted as equivalent to Level 2 in the New Senior Secondary subjects.
(b) A high proficiency in the use of computer software applications, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Chinese word processing;
(c) Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills; and
(d) Ability to work independently and as a good team player.
Notes:
(1) The appointee is required to perform duties on Saturdays and/or Sundays.
(2) The appointee will mainly work at the Taikoo Campus. Subject to operational needs, the appointee may be required to work at other campuses or locations occasionally.
(3) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with the appointee’s qualifications and experience.
