TITLE :

Officer (at the rank of Executive Assistant I)

Branding, Marketing and Communications Office

Major Duties
:

  • News Editing and Content Creation: Act as a News Editor to proactively identify and develop stories and angles for THEi’s academic programmes that are of media interest for marketing purposes;
  • Visual Design and Multimedia: Apply basic design concepts to create and adapt promotional graphics, digital marketing visuals, and banners for social media channels, websites, and events using AI-driven design applications and other design tools;
  • Public Relations, Outreach, Events and Expo Support: Assist in coordinating media interviews, event shootings, and press conferences. Support the planning and execution of events, education expos and ceremonies; and
  • Project Management and Administration: Handle ad-hoc and urgent projects efficiently under tight schedules. Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Office, including procurement processes, vendor coordination and general office administration.


Requirements
:

(a) (i) Level 2 or above in 5 subjects, including English Language*, Chinese Language and Mathematics, in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination, or equivalent^; OR
(ii) Level 2 / Grade E or above in 5 subjects, including English Language (Syllabus B)*, Chinese Language and Mathematics, in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE); OR
(iii) Diploma of Applied Education + Maths Plus / Diploma Yi Jin + Mathematics / Project Yi Jin; OR
(iv) A recognised Certificate / Diploma / Foundation Diploma / Foundation Certificate / Diploma of Foundation Studies; OR
(v) A recognised Associate Degree / Higher Diploma or above.
*   Completion of Hong Kong Vocational English Programme (HKVEP) at Level 2 / passing 5 specific VTC’s Vocational English Module Certificates is considered an alternative qualification.
^   “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of two Applied Learning subjects), and Grade E in Other Language subjects in the HKDSE Examination are accepted as equivalent to Level 2 in the New Senior Secondary subjects.
(b) At least 3 years of relevant work experience in the capacity of Executive Assistant (or equivalent) rank;
(c) Experience in the tertiary education sector or in a design house, together with a strong understanding of photography and/or videography, will be an advantage;
(d) Proficiency in the use of Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro and After Effects.;
(e) Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills;
(f) Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua being an advantage; and
(g) Ability to work independently and be a good team player.


Notes
:

(1) The post is at the rank of “Executive Assistant I”.
(2) The appointee may be required to perform duties at different locations and work irregular hours, shifts, and weekends, as necessary.
(3) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with the appointee’s qualifications and experience.
(4) The appointee will work at the Chai Wan Campus and may be required to travel occasionally.
