By combining practical training and theoretical knowledge, this Programme seeks to meet the growing demand for skilled professionals who possess digital technology proficiency and work-ready skillsets in the logistics sector, with a particular focus on the dynamic markets in the region and the world. With a strong emphasis on vocational preparation, the BScGLT programme will equip students with the necessary expertise and competencies to embark on successful careers in the ever-evolving global logistics industry.

Graduates can pursue careers in the logistics and supply chain industry, including multinational logistics companies, e-commerce platforms, freight forwarding firms, shipping and port operations, robotics solutions providers for logistics and technology-driven supply chain consultancies. Potential job roles include logistics analyst, industrial engineers, supply chain coordinators, operations managers, warehouse technology specialists, transport planners, data analysts for logistics optimisation, and technology integration consultants. Other opportunities are positions such as inventory control managers, global trade compliance offers, sustainability consultants in logistics, and roles in emerging fields such as drone delivery systems and low-altitude economy solutions.

Programme-specific Requirements

For Year 1 Entry:

  1. For HKDSE, a maximum of two Applied Learning (ApL) subjects can be counted for admission purpose. Programme-specific Requirements. Relevant ApL subjects include: Data Application for Business, Airport Passenger Terminal Operations, AI In Business, AI And Robotics and Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
  2. Applicants may be required to attend an admission interview.

 

For Year 3 Entry:

Higher Diploma OR equivalent sub-degree qualifications/studies in a relevant area of study.
Remarks:

  1. Additional core modules maybe required (with fee charged) for sub-degree graduates according to the educational background of individuals.
  2. All applicants are screened and selected by an Admission Panel. If interview is required, it would be conducted in English.

Programme Curriculum

This is a credit-based programme, which students will normally complete over 4 years (in 8 semesters). Students are required to take 120 credit points with modules shown below and an Industrial Attachment module for work-integrated learning. To encourage lifelong learning in general, and to provide students with greater flexibility, the programme will be offered through a credit-based module accumulation system with a multi-entry and multi-exit structure.
