Major Duties:
(a) To provide secretarial and administrative support to the Student Development Office;
(b) To support procurement and student activities for the Student Development Office;
(c) To assist with the processing of student mobility, student finance, scholarship and subsidy schemes;
(d) To handle enquiries from internal and external parties, and provide counter services;
(e) To assist in internal and external liaisons, and the arrangement of student activities;
(f) To assist in document management, and the compilation of reports and statistics; and
(g) To provide logistical and on-site support for student activities.
Requirements:
(a) (i) Level 2 or above in 5 subjects, including English Language*, Chinese Language and Mathematics, in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination, or equivalent^; OR
(ii) Level 2 / Grade E or above in 5 subjects including English Language (Syllabus B)*, Chinese Language and Mathematics in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE); OR
(iii) Diploma of Applied Education + Maths Plus / Diploma Yi Jin + Mathematics / Project Yi Ji; OR
(iv) A recognised Certificate / Diploma / Foundation Diploma / Foundation Certificate / Diploma of Foundation Studies; OR
(v) A recognised Associate Degree / Higher Diploma or above.
* Completion of Hong Kong Vocational English Programme (HKVEP) at Level 2 / Passing 5 specific VTC’s Vocational English Module Certificates is considered an alternative qualification.
^ “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of two Applied Learning subjects), and Grade E in Other Language subjects in HKDSE Examination are accepted as equivalent to Level 2 in the New Senior Secondary subjects.
(b) Proficiency in the use of computer software applications, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Chinese word processing;
(c) Good interpersonal and communication skills; and
(d) Ability to work independently, proactiveness and a good team player.
Notes:
(1) The appointee(s) may be required to work irregular hours, shifts and/or perform duties on Saturdays and Sundays as necessary.
(2) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
(3) The appointee(s) will work at the Chai Wan Campus.
