The Seminar on Practical Turf Management VI was held on April 27, 2024, at the Exhibition Hall, THEi Chaiwan campus. Organised by the Hong Kong Institute of Horticultural Science (HKIHS), Horticulture Exchange Foundation, Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi), University of Georgia, USA (UGA), and in collaboration with the South China Turf Managers Association, the seminar brought together renowned experts and professionals from around the world to discuss the latest advancements in turfgrass science and practical management.

 

After Prof. LM Chu, President of HKIHS, welcomed the speakers, guests, and participants, Ms. Kathy TK Ng, Head of the Greening, Landscaping & Tree Management Section at the Development Bureau, delivered an opening speech for the event. Dr. Daniel Yip Chung-yin, BBS, JP, Deputy Chairman of the Vocational Training Council, officiated the opening of the seminar.
