Major Duties:
The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator in conducting Chinese medicine research projects. Key responsibilities include providing creative ideas and scientific discoveries, performing high-quality analytical work, and collaborating effectively with industrial partners. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with local and overseas stakeholders. The appointee will be responsible for data collection and analysis, preparing research reports, and be willing to undertake overseas duty travel.
Requirements:
For the post of Research Assistant I, applicants should have a recognised Master’s degree in Chinese Medicinal Pharmacy, Chinese Medicine or related disciplines, or a recognised degree in related disciplines with relevant work experience; or equivalent.
For the post of Research Assistant II, applicants should have a recognised sub-degree in Chinese Medicinal Pharmacy, Chinese Medicine or relevant disciplines, or equivalent level of study.
Applicants with work experience in the relevant fields are preferable. Applicants should have a good command of English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
Notes:
(1) The appointee may be required to perform duties at different sites and work irregular hours, shifts, and on Saturdays and Sundays as necessary.
(2) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
(3) The appointee will work at the Chai Wan Campus.
