Major Duties:
The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator in conducting project work and research related to the field of food science and safety and nutrition study, and supporting the research work with creative ideas, scientific discoveries, and perform good quality of analytical work with instrument and microbiological tests. He/she will be required to perform collection and analysis of data and prepare research reports.
Requirements:
For the post of Research Assistant I, applicants should have a recognised Master’s degree in Food Science/Safety, Nutrition and Health Studies or related disciplines, or a recognised degree in related disciplines with relevant work experience; or equivalent.
For the post of Research Assistant II, applicants should have a recognised sub-degree in Food Science/Safety, Nutrition and Health or relevant disciplines, or equivalent level of study.
Applicants with work experience in the relevant fields are preferred but not essential. Applicants should have a good command of English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
Notes:
(1) The appointee may be required to perform duties at different sites and work irregular hours, shifts, and on Saturdays and Sundays as necessary.
(2) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
(3) The appointee will work at the Chai Wan Campus.
