Dr CHAN is a Lecturer from CUHK, and acts THEi Human Subjects Ethics Committe Member. He has solid experience in proprietary Chinese medicines. His research interests are in clinical trial study of the efficacy and safety of proprietary Chinese medicines and on the study of Integrative Medicine Development in Hong Kong.

Dr CHAN gave a presentation on the importance of research ethics for clinical studies, General Clinical Studies vs Clinical Trial ethical considerations, and points to be aware when applying research ethics clearance in THEi.
