Through-train Scheme to Year-3 of THEi Degree Programmes
(Applicable to VTC Higher Diploma Final Year Students and Graduates Only)
The Through-train Scheme (TT Scheme) is specially set up for students of VTC Higher Diploma programmes (HDs) for articulation to THEi’s degree programmes in relevant stream / discipline. Under this TT Scheme, students of relevant VTC HDs are only required to complete an e-application form with an authorization for THEi to access their student data from the VTC’s Student Records System. Please click your interested degree programme to get the relevant information and submit your e-application on or before 13 April 2025.
Starting from 2025/26 academic year, THEi offers 25 programmes under the Year-3 Admissions Scheme, including 10 programmes under the Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions / Sectors (SSSDP) and 15 programmes under the Non-means-tested Subsidy Scheme for Self-financing Undergraduate Studies in Hong Kong (NMTSS) respectively. Please refer to the below table for details.

2 The foundational science parts of the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Chinese Medicinal Pharmacy programme are taught in English, while the core parts in traditional Chinese medicine are taught in Cantonese (with explanations in Mandarin). Some general core and elective modules may be taught in English or entirely in English.
3 The medium of instruction for the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Chinese Medicinal Pharmacy (Programme Code: ST125207J) is Chinese (Cantonese). Some general core and elective modules may be taught in English or entirely in English.

2 The BEng (Honours) in Building Services Engineering and BSc (Honours) in Horticulture, Arboriculture and Landscape Management programme have been included in the “Pilot Project on the Development of Applied Degree Programmes” of the Education Bureau. The annual subsidy amount provided to full-time students enrolling in this designated applied degree programme under SSSDP in AY2025/26, will be increased to $89,620 and $51,880 respectively.
3 This new degree programme for Academic Year 2025/26 is under accreditation. Latest programme curriculum and relevant information will be updated on the THEi website (http://www.thei.edu.hk). THEi reserves the right to cancel any programme revise programme title, content or change the offering campus(es)/class venue(s) before class commencement if circumstances so warrant.
