Major duties:
The appointee shall report to the Programme Leader and the Head of Department, and engage in teaching and related learning activities, developing programme curriculum, teaching & learning, and assessment materials. He/she shall also support students in their learning, participate in academic and scholarly activities, and undertake academic and administrative support services for the Cinematic Arts and Technology programme.
Requirements:
The successful candidate should have a recognised Master’s degree in Film Production, Cinematic Arts, Creative Writing, or a related field with good professional standing. He/she should have at least 4 years of teaching experience at the tertiary level and/or industry experience in relevant fields. Desirable specialisms include:
- Film Directing and Acting
- Film Production
- Screenwriting, Storytelling, and Adaptation
The candidate should have good interpersonal, presentation, team-building, and communication skills, and high proficiency in both English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua.
Notes:
(1) The appointee may be required to perform duties at different locations and work irregular hours, including Saturdays and Sundays, as necessary.
(2) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with the appointee’s qualifications and experience.
(3) The appointee will work at the Chai Wan and Tiu Keng Leng Campuses.
