Major Duties:
The appointee shall engage in teaching and related learning activities, developing programme curriculum, teaching & learning, and assessment materials. He/she shall also support students in their learning, participate in the academic and scholarly activities of the Department, and provide academic and administrative support for the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Cinematic Arts and Technology programme.
Requirements:
The candidate should have a recognised Master’s degree in Film Production, Cinematic Arts, Animation, Creative Media, Creative Writing, or a related discipline. He/she should have at least 4 years of teaching experience at the tertiary level and/or industry experience in relevant fields. Desirable specialisms include:
(a) Animation Production (Anime, 2D, 3D, or AI)
(b) Film Directing and Acting
(c) Film Production
(d) Screenwriting, Storytelling and Adaptation
The candidates should have good interpersonal, presentation, team-building, and communication skills, and high level of proficiency in both English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua.
Notes:
(1) The appointee may be required to perform duties at different locations and work irregular hours, including weekends, as necessary.
(2) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with the appointee’s qualifications and experience.
(3) The appointee will work at the Chai Wan and Tiu Keng Leng Campuses.
