Major Duties:
The appointee shall engage in teaching and related learning activities, support students in their learning, participate in academic and scholarly activities of the Department, and undertake academic and administrative support services.
Requirements:
(a) A recognised Master’s degree, preferably a Doctoral degree, in Civil Engineering or related disciplines;
(b) At least 4 years of relevant teaching experience at the tertiary level and/or relevant work experience in civil engineering or related fields;
(c) A qualification as a CIC-Certified BIM Manager or BIM Coordinator is highly preferable;
(d) Familiarity with BIM and Smart Construction;
(e) Good interpersonal and communication skills;
(f) A high level of proficiency in English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua; and
(g) A proven record of linkage with industry or professional bodies will be an advantage.
Notes:
(1) Shortlisted candidates will be required to give a teaching demonstration in English at the interview.
(2) The appointee may be required to perform duties at different locations and to work irregular hours, including Saturdays and Sundays, as necessary.
(3) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with the appointee’s qualifications and experience.
(4) The appointee will mainly work at the Tsing Yi Campus
