Major Duties:
The appointee shall report to the Programme Leader and Head of Department and engage in teaching and related learning activities, developing programme curriculum, teaching & learning, and assessment materials. He/she shall also support students in their learning, participate in academic and scholarly activities, and undertake academic and administrative support services for the Landscape Architecture programme.
Requirements:
The successful candidate should have a recognised Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Urban Design, or related fields with good professional standing. He/she should have at least 4 years of teaching experience at the tertiary level and/or industrial experience in relevant fields. Desirable specialisms include, but are not limited to:
- Advanced Visualisation (Rhino, Grasshopper, Lumion, Enscape, Revit, AR/VR tools etc.)
- Building Information Modelling (BIM)
- Formulating Research in the Built Environment
- Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
- Landscape Professional Practice
- Sustainable / Resilient Landscape
Candidates should possess good interpersonal and communication skills, and high proficiency in English and preferably in Chinese, including Putonghua. All classes are conducted in English.
Notes:
(1) The appointee may be required to perform duties at different sites and work irregular hours, including Saturdays and Sundays.
(2) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
(3) The appointee will work at the Chai Wan Campus.
