Abstract

The questions of ‘Why', 'How' and 'What' do not seem to be creative, yet Mr. Willde Ng, the mastermind of the HKSAR Chief Executive re-election campaign "I will get the job done!", is going to show you cases of how creative thinking comes from these 3 simple words. All THEI staff members and students are welcome.

Bio-note

Born in Fujian, Willde joined J. Walter Thompson (JWT) Hong Kong as Art Director in 1982 and successfully led the company to win the best creative agency award for four consecutive years. In 1992, Willde left JWT to establish his own production house Another Factory Ltd. and became an award-winning TV commercial director.

Willde broadened his service scope from directing TV commercials to formulating strategies and delivering communication campaigns for a wide variety of clients by founding Thinking Without Thinking Ltd., a boutique strategy and marketing consultancy in the year 2006. Up till now, Willde has been known for launching the "Please excuse us" campaign for MTR to acknowledge the inconvenience caused by construction works in the community (2012), for relaunching Ngong Ping 360 with the slogan “It's blue. It's green. It's love naturally” (2007), and for boosting Donald Tsang's popularity by 24 points by launching the "I'll get the job done!" campaign for the then CE’s re-election (2007).
