1. The subsidy is only applicable to eligible local students and tenable for the normal duration of the programme. For details, please refer to the below websites:

2. The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Building Services Engineering and Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Horticulture, Arboriculture and Landscape Management programme have been included in the “Pilot Project on the Development of Applied Degree Programmes” of the Education Bureau. The annual subsidy amount provided to full-time students enrolling in this designated applied degree programme under SSSDP in AY2025/26, will be increased to $89,620 and $51,880 respectively.
3. The foundational science parts of the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Chinese Medicinal Pharmacy programme are taught in English, while the core parts in traditional Chinese medicine are taught in Cantonese (with explanations in Mandarin). Some general core and elective modules may be taught in English or entirely in English.
4. The medium of instruction for the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Chinese Medicinal Pharmacy (Programme Code: ST125207J) is Chinese (Cantonese). Some general core and elective modules may be taught in English or entirely in English.
General Entrance Requirements
Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Building Services Engineering
- Holders of Higher Diploma / Associate Degree / Professional Diploma or equivalent sub-degree qualifications who pass an interview.
Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Horticulture, Arboriculture and Landscape Management
Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Chinese Medicinal Pharmacy
Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Chinese Medicinal Pharmacy [Medium of Instruction: Chinese (Cantonese)]
- Sub-Degree qualifications in basic science.
Remarks:
- Additional core modules may be required (with fee charged) for sub-degree graduates according to the educational background of individuals.
- All applicants are screened and selected by an Admission and Interview Panel. All interviews are conducted in regard to the medium of instruction of the programme.

Tuition Fees
The tuition fees are charged according to the number of credit points taken during a semester and subject to annual review. Additional core module(s) may be required prior to commencement or during Year-2 study. Additional tuition fees will be charged according to the number of credit points taken, if any.
Depending on the requirements of individual programmes, students may be required to attend additional training and industrial attachments, for which separate fees will be charged.
Finance Assistance
Students may apply for the Financial Assistance Scheme for Post-secondary Students (FASP) and the Non-means-tested Loan Scheme for Post-secondary Students (NLSPS) administered by the HKSAR Government’s Working Family and Student Financial Assistance Agency (WFSFAA). Eligibility of individual students for specific schemes is subject to the WFSFAA’s assessment and confirmation.
