Awards competition & how-to-vote

Awards are given to the outstanding THEi student researchers of SARP2025. There are two types of awards – Best Poster Award and Most Popular Poster & Most Popular Video Presentation Awards.  All the posters and videos submitted to this event are entered into the awards competition.

Awards Competition

BEST POSTER AWARD

A Best Poster Award is given to the most outstanding poster from each of the six academic department that excels in research quality, poster design and impact to the industry. This award is assessed by the respective department’s academic staff. The award and prize will be presented to the awardee at the Graduation Ceremony.

The prize for the Best Poster Award is $1,000 each.

MOST POPULAR POSTER AND MOST POPULAR VIDEO PRESENTATION AWARDS

From 10 to 28 November 2025, all visitors to SARP2025 can vote for the “Most Popular Poster” and the “Most Popular Video Presentation“. The prizes for the awards are as follows:

Most Popular Video PresentationOverall Winner (1 Winner)HK$1,000

The results of the competition will be announced in mid-December and the award winners will be contacted accrodingly.

How-to-vote

WHO CAN VOTE?
Voting is open for ALL who visit the online or physical exhibition of SARP2025.

WHEN CAN I VOTE?
The voting period is from 10th to 28th November 2025.

HOW DO I VOTE?
In the online exhibition, click on the voting buttons on the top, bottom and right-hand side of the of the webpages.  You will be directed to the online voting form.  Complete the form to cast your votes.  In the physical exhibition, scan the QR code displayed in the exhibition to access the voting form, and complete the online form to cast your votes.

On the voting form, you can select ONE poster from the dropdown list, and ONE video from all the videos. Each voter can submit a completed voting form once only.

CAN I CHANGE MY VOTE?
No, you cannot change your vote once submitted.
