Academic Honours

The Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi) has set up the following Academic Honours for progressing students in recognition of their excellent academic achievements in the Institute.

Academic Honours	Criteria²
President's List	Progressing students of THEi degree programmes; and Minimum CGPA of 3.50 out of 4.00 at the end of the academic year
Vice President's List	Progressing students of THEi degree programmes; and Minimum CGPA of 3.30 out of 4.00 at the end of the academic year
Academic Improvement Award	Progressing students of THEi degree programmes; At least 10% improvement in CGPA comparing with the previous academic year; and Minimum CGPA of 2.50 out of 4.00 at the end of the academic year

Notes:

Eligible students will receive an email notification from the Institute. No application is required.
The criteria of Academic Honour is subject to annual review. Students have to fulfill other conditions as set by the Selection Committee, which include:

Have taken a minimum study load of 30 credit points in the academic year concerned (the credit points obtained by way of credit transfer/module exemption are excluded); and
No failed module or incomplete module at the end of the academic year

THEi reserves the rights to adjust the selection criteria in each academic year.
