Through-train Scheme to Year-3 of THEi Degree Programmes
(Applicable to VTC Higher Diploma Final Year Students and Graduates Only)
The Through-train Scheme (TT Scheme) is specially set up for students of VTC Higher Diploma programmes (HDs) for articulation to THEi’s degree programmes in relevant stream / discipline. Under this TT Scheme, students of relevant VTC HDs are only required to complete an e-application form with an authorization for THEi to access their student data from the VTC’s Student Records System. Please click your interested degree programme to get the relevant information and submit your e-application on or before 13 April 2026.
Starting from 2025/26 academic year, THEi offers 26 programmes under the Year-3 Admissions Scheme, including 11 programmes under the Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions / Sectors (SSSDP) and 15 programmes under the Non-means-tested Subsidy Scheme for Self-financing Undergraduate Studies in Hong Kong (NMTSS) respectively. Please refer to the below table for details.

2 The BEng (Honours) in Building Services Engineering and BSc (Honours) in Horticulture, Arboriculture and Landscape Management programme have been included in the “Pilot Project on the Development of Applied Degree Programmes” of the Education Bureau. The annual subsidy amount provided to full-time students enrolling in this designated applied degree programme under SSSDP in AY2026/27, will be increased to $89,620 and $51,880 respectively.
