Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions/Sectors (SSSDP) for Academic Year 2022/23

Vacant Subsidised Places -  Non-JUPAS Local Applicants (Non-JUPAS Route - 10% of the Subsidised Places)


Applications are now invited for admission to the following full-time Degree Programmes offered under the SSSDP:

*The programme is selected for the EDB's Pilot Project on the Development of Applied Degree Programmes in the 2022/23 academic year, which is allowed to admit non-JUPAS Local Applicants with no more than 20% of the subsidised places particularly.

 

Interested Non-JUPAS Local ApplicantsNote please submit your application via the VTC Web-based Admissions System from 12 July 2022 (3:00 p.m.) to 5 September 2022 (5:00 p.m.).  Late application will not be accepted.

The intake places of programmes under the SSSDP are mainly allocated through the Joint University Programmes Admissions System (JUPAS).  Should there be unfilled intake places for other SSSDP programmes, the SSSDP participating institution will admit Non-JUPAS Local ApplicantsNote via direct admission of no more than 10% of the subsidised places of each selected programme.

 

Apart from the above Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Horticultire, Arboriculture and Landscape Management programme, the number of unfilled intake places of each SSSDP programme, if available, and details of the online application arrangement will be announced on THEi’s website in due course. Before the official announcement of the application arrangement of unfilled intake places of each SSSDP programme, Non-JUPAS Local ApplicantsNote who would like to apply for these unfilled SSSDP intake places may choose to indicate their interest for consideration for unfilled subsidised SSSDP programme places in advance by completing this Google Form. The Institute will further contact you when the online application for unfilled intake places of each SSSDP programme is open.

Note:

  1. Applicants applied for 2022 JUPAS are NOT eligible to apply for the bachelor's degree programme (Year 1 Entry) under the SSSDP through Direct Admission — Non-JUPAS Local Applicants (Non-JUPAS Route - 10% of the Subsidised Places).
  2. Applicants with HKDSE Examination results only MUST apply via JUPAS.
