Entry Requirement for Thai Applicants

Minimum Entry Requirements 

Applicants are eligible to apply for admission if they possess the following or equivalent qualifications:

 

- Certificate of Secondary Education (Maw 6 (Matayom Suksa VI))#

- Other qualifications

- Language Requirements 

 

  • Certificate of Secondary Education (Maw 6 (Matayom Suksa VI))#
    • Grade 2.5 in Maw 6 Mathematics;
    • Grade 2.5 in other TWO Maw 6 subjects;
    • Grade 3.0 in ONE Maw 6 subject which should be different from the above subjects; and
    • Any one of the English language requirements listed in the table below

 

  • Other qualifications
    • Holder of International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma with Grade 4 or 5 in IB English subjects (Higher or Standard Level);
    • Holder of Business and Technology Education Council (BTEC) Level 3 Diploma of “MM” Grades or a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma of “MPP” Grade*; and Grade C or above in IGCSE English Language or English as a Second Language.; or
    • Other equivalent academic qualifications (subject to the individual assessment by the Faculties)

International English Language Testing System
(IELTS)

An overall score of  6.0

GCE A-level  /  GCE AS-level  English Language

Grade  E

International Baccalaureate ( IB ) English Language

English Language results of overseas examinations recognised by VTC

Notes:
The TOEFL or IELTS results submitted must be within a 2-year period from the date of the test or examination to the date of commencement of study.
