THEi高科院2024/25 學年總入學申請過萬 經聯招取錄人數急升85% （2024年9月9日，香港）香港高等教育科技學院（THEi高科院）一直秉持以「應用科學為本」的教學理念，開辦不同專業領域的學士學位課程，截止2024年9月5日，一共收到超過16,000份新生入學申請，與去年同期相若。經大學聯招取錄入讀「指定專業/界別課程資助計劃」（SSSDP）學士學位課程人數更按年上升85%，反映THEi高科院創新獨特的學士學位課程具競爭力，學生對著重實踐應用科學的職專教育深感興趣。 THEi高科院今年整體本地學生收生人數與去年相若，分別選讀「建造、環境及工程學系」、「設計及建築學系」、「數碼創新及科技學系」、「食品及健康科學學系」、「酒店餐飲及工商管理學系」及「運動及康樂學系」提供的20多個學士學位課程。 SSSDP學士學位課程以運動及康樂管理（榮譽）社會科學學士、時裝設計（榮譽）文學士、土木工程（榮譽）工學士為熱門報讀課程。而運動及康樂管理（榮譽）社會科學學士課程取錄人數較去年同期上升約1.3倍，收生情況理想。 在自資學士學位課程方面，今年整體取錄一年級生人數亦錄得可觀增幅，比去年上升28%，當中本地學生取錄人數增加75%。其中營養及健康管理（榮譽）理學士、飛機工程（榮譽）工學士等成今年熱門的報讀科目。 校長劉建德教授：取錄率符合預期 THEi高科院校長劉建德教授回應指：「本學年取錄率符合預期，對院校未來發展深感信心。院校近年積極推出多元課程計劃吸納各領域學生入讀，同時亦探索嶄新的校企合作，為學生提供更多元化的學習模式。」他強調理想的錄取率反映社會及學生認同THEi高科院的教學理念和發展方向，現時院校正逐步邁向升格成為「應用科學大學」的目標。
