Personal Development Programmes
A variety of workshops and activities will be offered to students on different themes, including self-understanding, psychological wellness and stress management. Through participation in on-campus activities, you can discover your interests, meet friends and acquire valuable interpersonal skills.
New Student Orientation
The New Student Orientation Day is designed to welcome new students to the THEi community, make connections with THEi fellow students, and learn about the academic arrangements, learning resources and student services available at THEi.
A series of welcome activities will be held in the first few weeks of September for students to get to know about campus life at THEi, get involved and join student organisations.
Workshops on psychological wellness and stress management
Feeling stress is normal when you are facing a busy study schedule, especially at assignment deadlines and in examination periods. While planning your study ahead is essential, the SDO arranges fun workshops and psychological wellness festivals for you to help you to unwind and relax.

The SDO can also arrange on-demand workshops to suit your timetable and schedule. Here is a list of some suggested workshop themes, including self-understanding, social skills enhancement, stress management and career preparation, for you to choose from. Talk to your classmates and friends, as the minimum number of participants is 10 for some themes.

ICAC Ambassador Programme
To encourage tertiary students to engage in the promotion of integrity, the ICAC has launched an “ICAC Ambassador Programme” in collaboration with tertiary institutions to mobilise students to organise on-campus integrity activities.

WeCare About You (陪著你走)
With funding supported by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Centre for Suicide Research and Prevention, WeCareAboutYou is a student-led project for planning and launching student-initiated activities to promote mental health wellbeing to fellow students and introduce them to some effective ways to cope with negative emotions through different channels.
Rotaract Club of THEi
With support from the Rotary Club of Hong Kong Island East, there are lots of opportunities to join and organise various service activities in Hong Kong and overseas and to network with the Rotaractors of other tertiary institutions and the larger Rotary community , through which students can enhance their personal and professional development.
THEi Wofoo Leaders’ Network (THEi WLN)
With support from Wofoo Social Enterprises, in addition to organising THEi WLN activities, students have numerous opportunities to meet with industry professionals and students from other institutions through joining WLN activities. They can also broaden their horizons through exchange tours to the Chinese mainland and overseas.
