Dear Students,

 

For most of us, teamwork is a part of everyday life. Whether it's at school, at home, in the community, or at your internship, we are often expected to be a functional part of a performing team. Working with a group will increase your efficiency in assignment handling, school project management, and learning outcomes.

Join the Game:

IET eBooks Online Quiz

In order to promote learning resources and e-databases among THEi staff and students, Learning Commons is going to hold “IET eBooks Online Quiz” in July - September 2021.

 

IET eBooks Collections offer an acclaimed listing of academic and practitioner focused titles spanning 40 years, covering a wide range of subject area including such as computing, energy engineering and healthcare technologies, etc.

 

The IET Digital Library can access over 680 world-class engineering and technology titles with IET eBook Collections.

 

Access to IET Digital Library, THEi staff and students can browse and download the subscribed e-book. Who submit correctly the most answers will be awarded a prize.

You may access the e-databases at campus by any computers.

If you access the e-databases at home, you need to setup VPN.

(VTC has provided a new security measure "Two Factor Authentication (2FA)" service that requires all THEi students to observe. Please complete a few steps to register your mobile phone where guidelines are attached below.)

The Subject Specialists are available to help students any time with writing or study questions around core academic numeracy and literacy skills and concepts. Students can upload any writing draft for feedback, which will be returned within 24 hours and includes tips on how to make it better. They can also ask a subject-question in English, statistics, economics, mathematics, sciences (phy/chem/bio), and library and research skills, in a live, one-to-one session with a specialist.
