The Adobe Premiere Pro can help edit video or make a movie from scratch. The editing software can create a video, correct color, add effects and titles,and more.

We are going to hold a workshop on “An Introduction to 3D Printing (Basic & Intermediate)” on 5th October 2019, a Module in the Programme, “Creative Media Production and Courseware Production”.

  1. Introduction of 3D printing technology and process
  2. Principles, hardware and software operations and demonstrations of FDM and SLA/DLP printing techniques
  3. Key points of design the 3D print model
  4. Introduction of 3D design software

Remarks: Participating staff will be awarded Continuous Professional Development

The workshop will be presented mainly in Cantonese supplemented with English as appropriate.

*Workshop outline:

  • Introduce various flight theories
  • Introduce various types of aircraft (aircraft, helicopters, drones, etc.)
  • Showcase different drone models such as DJI Inspire 1 Pro, DJI Mavic 2 Zoom, Parrot Anaifi thermal and Smartplanes smartone-C
  • Briefing on aviation safety
  • Introduce how aerial photography can be used in measurement, media shooting to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Special explanation of current aerial survey practices, required hardware and software

*The Workshop will be conducted using the installed simulation software at LC e-classroom

In order to promote and foster the use of library e-resources among THEi students. Learning Commons are going to hold the “Fun Quiz: Library E-resources and Literature Searching” event.

Access to the Online Quiz and fill out the answers. Students who answer correctly the most questions will be awarded a Book Voucher of HK$50.
